  About Giclée Prints
Giclée prints are an advanced form of digital print making. It produces color accuracy matching the color and beauty of the original artwork.

Roland printers begin by loading a roll of paper or canvas on a printing machine. A digital file (containing artist’s artwork) is processed by the system ‘s computer, controlling six heads each spraying a highly stable color pigmented ink rather than the standard

four. It provides extended tonal range and improved highlight detail. The heads move back and forth across the width of the paper and slowly moving through the printer one inch per minute.

Gicl
ée prints on paper are printed on 300lb archival watercolor paper. The print process uses Lyson “lW-2” Ink set which lasts substantially longer than traditional Equipoise inks. If the print is exhibited properly and handled with care, it will have a life span of 100+ years.

Roland Precision
canvas prints are extraordinary reproductions which have a 100+ year life span. They are protected with a tough coating making them impervious to water and can be displayed without glass.

Giclée print on paper are water soluble.  Handle with care.  Do not scratch.
